1,200 Readers Know Harry's Fate - the book store screwed up.

Customers Who Preordered Books Online Got Their Copies Four Days Early!

The real Harry Potter Books are OUT!

ABC news reports that an online store called "DeepDiscounts.com" shipped copies of Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows early. There were 1200 books shipped and customers got them today.

The publisher, Scholastic, is suing.

Fearing the general public knowing the outcome too early and spoiling the big Saturday release, Scholastic is urging fans to keep "the packages hidden" .

"We are also making a direct appeal to the Harry Potter fans who bought their books from DeepDiscount.com and may receive copies early requesting that they keep the packages hidden until midnight on July 21st," Scholastic said in a statement.

Okay, so everyone who wants to know what happened to Harry now knows.

Did Harry live or die?

Chances are half of your co-workers already know the fate of Harry and the book doesn't come out until Saturday night.

Today is Wednesday.

So much for security and "secrecy pledges" taken by the staff of the publishing company.

Yes, photographed pages have been available for download since Monday and now, you don't even have to download them.
So many websites have posted pages of the important stuff, like the last chapter and epilogue that it is quite easy to point and click your way through the book.

Read my
other posts to find out where you can download the pages.

You know, it's all about money....

Potter, The Next Generation

But really, JK Rowling wasn't dumb.

No, she didn't kill off Harry or any of the most popular young characters, and yes, she ended the book ripe for a sequel.

In the epilogue, Rowling sets the stage with six new characters and a few good plot devices.
Harry and Ginny's three kids; James, Albus Severus, and Lily will no doubt make up the main characters for the next twenty years.

James has been going to Hogwarts for a few years and "knows the ropes" and Albus is going for the first time and is quite frightened that he may be sorted into Slytherin.
Harry reminds him that Slytherin needs a good student and that he is named after Snape.

Lily is too young and will probably be ready for the third generation of Potter books.... just you wait.

Hermione and Ron have two kids, Hugo and Rose who also attend Hogwarts.

Then there is the antagonist. Draco Malfoy has a son named Scorpius.

Ah. Can you see it now?

There is your next series.

JK Rowling isn't finished. There is more money to be made. There will be a sequel.

Harry Potter: The End

Harry Potter: The End

From Meryl.net

Who will benefit from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and the series in the short term and long term? This previous post discusses how killing Harry could potentially hurt future sales once the current popularity dies down.

People still buy Lord of the Rings though the series is old by today’s standards. I wonder if the movies will cut into the sales of the books as people might choose to skip the books and go for the movies. Could that happen to the Harry Potter series as all seven books will eventually be available as a series of movies?

Death and Spoilers (no spoilers here)
If Harry should die, would the next generation buy Harry Potter knowing this? It’ll be hard not to find out about a main character’s death or ending twist long after the last book’s release date.

Unsurprisingly, a photocopy of the entire book appeared online as
The Dallas Morning News (might require free registration) explains without spoilers. How will this affect sales? I don’t think it will hurt sales much as fans want a hard copy to hold in their hands and flip page by page. I have no interest in reading the entire book online even if it means finding out what happens a few days sooner. Mugglenet and Leaky Cauldron ask fans not to leak anything, but Mugglenet issues a warning that comments could contain spoilers.

Young Fans and Future Generations
My middle child looks forward to reading the book with us. My little one is only four, so he has yet to hear or see Harry Potter. Will he want us to read the books to him? Will he read them himself? Or will he just take the easy way out and watch the movies? The movies only capture a portion of each book since the books have too much happening to squeeze into movie format.

That’s one thing the movies do well — they don’t try to capture everything. The writers and directors try to tell a tight story with key parts covered (as far as we know) instead of trying fit in all the elements.
Another key point in how the book ends is the young fans. Kids start reading the series around age nine. How could an adverse ending affect these kids? Adults want surprises and twists, but kids want to believe Harry wins.
So could the ending hurt or benefit the book publishers? The movie makers? The young fans?

Okay I warned you....

Harry and Voldemort battle in the end.
Dumbledore intended for the elder's wand to be Snape's, but Snape dies nobly to save Harry. Snape was always in love with Harry's mother and that is why he aligned with Dumblebore and was his spy from the moment Voldemort threatened her. Dumbledore was already dying when Snape finished him, the plan was made between them.

Draco Malfoy was the true master of the wand, but Harry disarmed him.... making Harry the true master of the wand.
Voldemort dies by his own wand.
Harry doesn't want the wand and gives it up.

Nineteen years later,

Harry marries Ginny and they have three kids, James, Albus Severus, and Lily
Ron and Hermione marry and have two kids, Rose and Hugo
Neville is a professor of Herbology at Hogwarts
Draco marries and has a son, Scorpius

Harry Potter download from the internet today!

The whole book - photographs of all the pages of Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows can be found on the internet.

Just go look at sites like mininova or thepiratebay and you will find places that it can be downloaded.

I don't read the books. But it is interesting how available it is.

the first page - from European website

The reports of this came out in Canadian newspapers yesterday.... some guy named Byron Ng in Vancouver had found it and reported about it.

A lot of other websites are posting the pictures of the last few pages of the book... for those who can't stand waiting.

My prediction was wrong by the way.

Harry Potter Book and Movie and my prediction of the OUTCOME of the book finale

Some guy in Vancouver has posted the first 4oo or so pages of the new book release.....

Deathly Hallows - the cover page

The new Harry Potter movie is out. I saw it. I don't remember the actual whole name of it... but I am sure that if I cared enough to Google it I could find it. You probably know what it was called and that's all that matters. If not, you can Google it.

Okay, so there is this battle with Harry against the dark lord guy and Harry has this army of witches helping him, (or trying to help), fight. He is down and about to use some evil spell on a more evil person. Then, when he is about to break and die or turn to "the dark side" or whatever, I kept expecting him to call out to God to save him, but he never does.

He depends on his own will and strength and it barely is enough.

It would have been better had he humbled himself and called out to God. The author messed up there a lot.
*********************
I have a prediciton though--- this is what will happen-- after July 21st you can tell me if I was right:

Harry will turn to the dark side. He will fall completely into evil and do so very easily. His own will and strength will not be enough to avoid this pitfall. His army of witches will battle tirelessly to save him-- all the while, never turning to God. Then in a wicked turn for the worse, Hermoine will have to die on account of his own pridefull neglegance and arrogance of dabling in the "dark side" and falling prey to it. Only this will bring him around, but by then, the sad aftermath will be his eternal punishment.

He will learn a partial lesson too late.

You will have to read it and see how close I get. I have never read one of the books, but the foreshadowing in the movie made me come up with my own conclusion.

Let me know. I will wait a few years for the next movie I guess.

Edit- three hours later

Well, guess we won't have to wait. Go to any of your favorite torrent sites (ie. thepiratebay or mininova) and you can download a copy of the book in photo form. You can tell that it is the real book, page by page. Somebody photographed each page up to page 495 then the last few pages too. You can see each page as a photo.
