Election poll - Who are you voting for?

Those of you who know me, know that I am a die-hard, conservative Republican. I am a card carrying member. I have worked as an election clerk many times... can't count how many times in both Texas and New Mexico starting when I was 18 years old. I have worked phone banks for Republican candidates when I was only 18 years old. I have been a delegate to the State Republican Convention three times. Yes, I am a Republican.

I completely buy into the Republican platform. If you haven't read it, then go read it now.

I am against basically EVERYTHING on the Democrat platform, and believe the Republicans have a better stand on all issues.

However, I am concerned about the strangely peculiar spell that Barack Hussein Osama. I mean, Barack Obama has cast over some people who lack discernment. He hasn't done a whole heck of a lot. He sat in the state legislature and sat in the senate for one term but didn't accomplish much while there. But people like strong talkers, not big thinkers. They prefer someone who makes them feel good and mooshy on the inside and don't think much about substance, nor what the party lines are. And believe me, any democrat president will follow the party line.

If I could pick one candidate out of the four who remain, Huckabee, McCain, Clinton and Obama; I would pick Huckabee. At least what he stands for is closest in line with my stand on issues.

But tomorrow, I think I will vote in the democrat primary.

WHY?

Well, I have a funny feeling that it would be really hard to beat Obama with McCain as our man, since it looks like McCain is the one who will win the nomination. The vast difference in charisma between McCain and Obama I think would be something impossible to overcome. And charisma is what our emotional majority minority populace values.

So I am voting for Clinton. We can beat her. Easily. I hope she wins the Texas primary.

There is only a 1% difference between Clinton and Obama in the Texas polls as of today. This difference is what is driving my decision. I think my one vote could make a difference. One vote has made a difference before.

I am putting up a poll on the side bar. Go do it!
