The resale shop

Mama and I went to Mass at in Dallas and met Ed there.

Afterward, we ate at the Knights of Columbus hall and yum was it good!

Then we said goodbye to Ed and I convinced Mama to go to Tuesday Morning. We didn't find much there, but next door was a resale shop and after browsing around, I brought home a little dresser with a mirror attached, (sort of like a vanity only no place for your legs).

I detached the mirror to get the dresser in the car. It fit perfectly.

I bought it because I thought that the little dresser would make a great end table for next to my leather recliner.

When I got home, I got some brown Kiwi shoe paste and rubbed the paste over the entire dresser. It really made it look better! Look at the before and after pictures:

After the paste dried, I buffed it with paper napkins to a great shine.

I decided that the mirror would probably look good hanging behind it on the wall, much higher than it would be if attached to the dresser. An added bonus would be that with a lamp in front of it, it would help add light to the room.
Here are the results!

I got the chair from Craigslist and the dog from Ed.
